Saturday Night Game Recap - A Special Event

With few announced games at the club this weekend, it was the perfect opportunity the club to celebrate one of our member's transition into retirement. President Andy put together a surprise retirement party for Walt Williams, long-time CSGA member and creator of his crazily popular game WFG. Walt's final work day was Friday, 5 May 2017 and Andy invited all CSGA members to a surprise party to usher in a new chapter of Walt's life. The party began at 5:30 PM, which allowed members the opportunity to stop in throughout the evening to pass on their best wishes to Walt and his wife AT. Ice cream, cake and sodas were provided including a special retirement cake baked by CSGA member Luis Nunez' daughter Sandra. Andy stated that with Walt's retirement he has begun a "new Job under New Management... AT!" and that Saturday was the first day of the rest of his "Honey-do List!"

After the party, Walt hosted a WFG games for all who wanted to partake.

Walt's response to the party was:

OMG, OMG, OMG!

I have been blessed to have friends like you! I was so surprised!!!!

Thanks so much for thinking about AT and me!

As Andy said, I am under new management! We are looking forward to this next phase in our lives.

Thank you all!!!

Walt
