A change of pace game at the club this Saturday night. Peter Hope's children put a game of Betrayal at House on the Hill. The game is a board game published by Avalon Hill in 2004, with players working as allies to explore a haunted house filled with dangers, traps, items and omens. As the players explore the mansion, new room tiles are chosen at random resulting in a entirely new game each time played. When the "haunt" begins, the nature and plot of the game's ghost story revealed; where one player usually "betrays" the others and takes the side of the ghosts, monsters, or other enemies, while the remaining players collaborate to defeat them. The night's game had room for four players.
