Saturday Night Game Recap - A new Star Wars game played at the club

A new Star Wars game was played at the club Saturday night. Club member Peter Hope and his son Ethan put on a game of Star Wars Legion for anyone interested to try out. The game is a new 28mm skirmish game set in the Star Wars universe and is put out by Fantasy Flight Games. The game is similar to the game Imperial Assault, but is not played on a grid map. Instead range rulers are used for movement and shooting. The night's game used a free form game table set up. This was a walk-through game with Peter and Ethan testing the rules using just the game's starter set. Star Wars Legion is designed to be a two-player game, but it can be expanded for 2 on 2 games and perhaps even more players if the units each person controls are small.
