Two historical games were put on at the club. Dave Clapper ran a Flames of War 4th Edition game and Peter Hope put on a Blood and Plunder pirate game. Dave's game was a scenario depicting the Battle of Gumbinen in 1944. The game had elements of the German 5th Panzer Division trying to stop the advance of a Soviet Peredovoye Otryad (mobile exploitation) force. The game was a learning game for up to a total of four players.
Peter's game was a land skirmish scenario for six players. The objective of the game was for each player to gather as much treasure scattered around an abandoned village with a large broken down church at its center.
