With the success of the two games last weekend, but WFG and Blood and Plunder made return engagement at the club this weekend. Walt's scenario for the night was set in a more familiar location as it pitted a Soviet force against the Germans somewhere on the Eastern Front. Another big group of players took part and the scenario was heatedly fought! With Talk like a Pirate day occurring the previous Wednesday, Al Maurer put on a shipboard Blood and Plunder Scenario. Each side commanded three vessels that ranged from a longboat to a frigate in size. This scenario was one of the first ship-based scenarios played at the club so there was a lot questions asked and rules to be looked up as the game was played. Being able to play both land and sea based scenarios makes Blood and Plunder a very versatile game. That is one of the aspects that made a number of club members to purchase the game. In addition to the two primary games, Doug Rains put on a Hordes of the Things (HOTT) game, which added a fantasy element to the night's gaming action and Paul Pease put on a Napoleon's Battles game.
