Saturday Night Game Recap - An old face makes an appearance at the club

An unexpected appearance by an old CSGA member made a normal night at the a special occasion as past CSGA President Gil Silva stopped in to say hello and see old friends at the club. Gil, CSGA President for nine years during the 1990s, was a short-notice visitor to the club and his presence gave long-time CSGA members the opportunity to reminisce and catch up on what Gil has been doing since moving up to Montana. Only one game scheduled for the evening so current CSGA President Andy Oertig quickly asked for a club member to put on a Napoleonic historical game for Gil to play if he was interested. The scheduled game that was put on was run by Dave Clapper and was Blood Rage a Vikings game set during the dark ages. Having Gil stop in brought back a lot of happy memories for those club member who were able to come by and see Gil. Miniature wargaming is a hobby that fosters the making of life-long friends and having one such friend as Gil Silva stop by made the evening very special.
