Game Night Recap - Two Modern Games on tap

This weekend saw two miniatures games being played at the club. One was a modern skirmish game put on by Peter Hope and the other was a game set in the possible near-future put on by Dave Brewer. Dave's game was a post-apocalyptic skirmish game using some of the game mechanics of the World War II small unit game Bolt Action. The game had players fighting in a possible post-nuclear war setting with players using a variety of old antiquated weapons along with new/futuristic weapons. This was another game where Dave's imagination is clearly on display with interesting rules being played on an elaborate gaming table. Peter's game was Force on Force, which is a modern era small-force skirmish game. Scenarios can take play anywhere in the world and can pit modern US, Russian, European and middle-eastern forces against each other.
