Another excellent night of gaming at the club this weekend. Three games were put on; one board game and two miniatures games. The board game was Conflict of Heroes, a World War II board game for two players, which was brought in by Bernie Santucci. Set during World War II, the game simulates small unit actions in the European theater.
The two miniatures games were a skirmish level game and aerial combat game. The skirmish game was NCO and was put on by Walt Williams. The game is design for individual man, single-squad versus single-squard combat. Walt has brought in the game a couple to times now and is looking to expand the game to allow multiple players on each side. The night's game was one-on-one play, but adding additional players appears to be doable.
The aerial combat games was Canvas Eagles and was put on by CSGA President Andy Oertig. The game was set on the Western Front during World War I and allowed players to fly their favorite canvas bi-planes. Canvas Eagles is regularly played and the club and there is always a good turn out of players to take part in the game.
